Department of Armament Engineering The key element of any battle victory is the concentration of right amount, variety of firepower on the target at right time with an element of surprise . The fire power is the blend of Armaments of ground, air & naval weapons and the variety of ammunition.There is a growing interest on part of the developing nations to evolve a stream lined system of defense equipment life cycle management involving the aspects of design, production, testing, maintenance, overhaul, up gradation and material support to overcome the serious problems of stringent conditions of supply, sanctions, astronomical costs involved in procurement of defense equipment from developed nations.

It is obvious that delivery of quality education is highly dependent on the availability of qualified and experienced academic as well as support staff members. The Armament Engineering department has 25 full time and no part-time academic staff members for both the UG and PG programs. The following table shows the number and qualification of the academic staff.
