College Food Service branch provides catering services for morning, afternoon, and evening functions in two dining halls and one lounge. The menu is developed by the Ministry of National Defense for its employees living in compass. The College logistics support will provide enough food to ensure that everyone is served adequately. Catering equipment, electric power, water supply and transportation services are provided by the College whereas workers employment and other management activities are closely supervised by students. The dining hall follows the official College calendar closing for someholidays including between semester breaks.

The College believes that physical education (sport) to be part of educational program which adds its unique contribution through the medium of activity and movement emphasizing the acquisition of skillsas of value for life time physical recreation activities, the development of socially desirable habits and attitudes, and knowledge which contribute to the overall aims of education and to create fully fledged mentally and physically healthy citizen.



A 24-hours Reverse Osmosis plant is operational to provide drinking water for the entire staff and student community, as well as the hostels.


College students receive outpatient medical treatment, physical examinations, and medical and safety care in the College’s health station located in the campus. Medical care will be provided at any time and priority is given to students every morning from 7 to 9 am to support them not to miss their classes. If students experience medical emergencies and health problems which are beyond the capacity of the College’s Health Centre, which might lead to loss of life, limb, eyesight or other emergencies, they will be referred to Defense referral hospitals (it is to say to the nearest local emergency care facility). The medical service provided for students is totally free and the College medical group will always coordinate any necessary medical care in a manner that supports ongoing academic studies whenever possible. The hospital service for foreign students shall be provided based on the agreement signed between the Ministry of National Defense of Ethiopia and the corresponding foreign counterpart.


All students are required to stay in-campus in the residence halls. With our intimate class size, students have the opportunity to know one another. Furthermore, students are organized on the basis of their seniority (for example first year students live in one area and so on). Residence Hall Coordinators work closely with students to assist in providing the best living experience. Residence facilities improvement and modernization as well as its ICT networking are the major focus area of improvement.
