THE DEPARTMENT OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

Chemical Engineering Department had established officially in 2001 offering a nine semester courses with a total of 160 credit hours that enable a student a bachelor of chemical engineer. The curriculum was developed on the disciplinary needs of ministry of defence.
 
Chemical engineering is concerned with the development, design and operation of processes and plants in which materials undergo chemical reactions and physical changes. The product of chemical engineering covers a wide range as of petrol, medicines, explosive chemicals, plastics, metals, corrosion protections, purified water, cosmetics and other chemicals and material products that improve the quality of lives.
 
Chemical engineering courses aim to educate the students in the way to have self confidence and to come up with their conclusion for the existing problems and able to step with the fast growing chemical engineering technology especially explosive manufacturing and protection technology.
