Department Goals

To Achieve national recognition for excellence in undergraduate education in the fields of Electrical Power Engineering
To develop a national reputation for research excellence
To train students with the breadth and depth of knowledge and intellectual and professional skills those prepare them for a productive life in the challenging Defence environment
To provide support for faculty and staff development
To increase the physical infrastructure as needed to support the educational, research and service activities

All graduate degrees in Electrical Power Engineering Fields of Studies are recognized by and awarded through the Defense Engineering College as:

“Bachelor of Technology Degree (B-Tech) in Electrical Power Engineering with Specialization in Power System and Drives”
“Bachelor of Technology Degree (B-Tech) in Electrical Power Engineering with Specialization in Control and Automation”
