About the Computer and Information Technolgy

The Department of Computer Information Technology currently running three programs namely:  Computer Engineering and Computer Science and Systems Engineering and Information Technology. It is known that the technology especially, with the field of computing is changing ever fast and to cope up with the latest change in technology, it is required to frequently update the existing courses and programs. In this revised curriculum, maximum effort have been exerted to come up with complete and demand oriented programs that address the need of MoND in the areas computer and information technology. In view of this, all relevant core courses, supportive and basic science, are carefully designed for each field of the specializations

Department Objectives.....

  • To produce engineers in computer and information technology with creativity, hard working, team spirit, military & professional ethics and academic discipline with responsibility and professionalism,
  • To impart the graduates the knowledge and skills necessary in the development of systems covering a broad range of engineering and scientific applications,
  • To develop and disseminate the theory and methods for the design, analysis, implementation, and improvement of computer hardware, software and application systems,
  • To carry out research in the areas of computer & information Technology,
  • To render consultancy services,
  • To equip the graduates with the communication skills, to become an effective team-oriented problem solver as well as an effective communicator in computer and software systems development, information technology systems and applications,
  • To prepare graduates for professional advancement,
