Research and Development

Chemical engineering applied courses are tuned to military application and protection. These courses are: explosive science and engineering, explosive manufacturing, propellant and pyrotechnics, ballistics, ammunition, chemical – biological warfare, nuclear science and engineering, corrosion engineering, instrumental methods of explosive analysis as well as safety and hazard analysis.

to be one of the top internationally acceptable military applied chemical engineering programs to train, conduct research and disseminate the out come for the over all corners of the world.

Department Mission

Provide students with quality engineering education in order to fulfill the graduate profile
Conduct basic and applied research that supports to improve our defense capacity
Provide consultancy service to ministry of defense and defense industries

Program Objectives

To produce military chemical engineers at undergraduate level who are capable of delivering pertinent solutions to defence chemical engineering problems
To provide trainees with solid foundation in the fundamentals of chemical engineering science, design, and practice along with a sound base in chemistry, mathematics, economics and other supportive courses.
To perform applied research related to biochemical, nuclear, combustion and explosion, explosive binders, and other relevant problems of defence.
To provide chemical engineering consultancy and technical services to defence industries.
